Teen events at the library

We offer teen programs throughout the year, including our popular Dungeons & Dragons drop-in sessions and annual TD Summer Reading Club!

To register for a teen program, you must be 13-18 years of age.

Dungeons and Dragons Adventures

Learn how to play D&D at the Library! We'll build characters, learn fifth edition rules, roll some dice, and have fun. 

  • Date - Fridays from 3:30-5 PM
  • Location - Paris Branch (12 William Street, Paris)
  • Ages - High school students in Grades 9+

Registration is required.

 

The Many Faces of Link: A Dungeons and Dragons/Legend of Zelda adventure for tweens

Get ready to play Dungeons and Dragons like you never have before! We're running a campaign set in Hyrule, the setting of the famous Legend of Zelda games.

  • Date - Wednesdays at 3:30 PM*
  • Location - St. George Branch
  • Ages - Tweens, 10+

Register for program sessions at brantlibrary.ca/calendar.

*Our current game is full, but you can join the waiting list!

Magic: The Gathering - A drop-in program for tweens and teens

Get ready for a new club where you learn to play Magic: The Gathering (a classic, fantasy-based card game).

We'll provide snacks, deck, and people to play with - all you have to do is bring yourself!

  • Date - Saturdays from 12-2 PM*
  • Location - St. George Branch (78 Main Street, St. George)
  • Ages - Tweens 10+ and teens 13-18 years old

All skill levels welcome to attend this free drop-in; registration is not required.

 

Teen Take & Make @ Home - Craft kits for tweens and teens

Tweens and teens are invited to create cool works of art using simple materials.

Craft kits are available to those who register and while supplies last.*

Register using our online calendar or connect with your local branch and sign up with staff.

Many adult library programs are open to teen event-goers! Visit our online calendar, select an event or workshop you're interested in, then view age and group info (located at the end of the event description).

Teen Reviewers Program

Need volunteer hours? Join the Teen Reviewers Program!

If you love using the library to borrow books, movies, and music, this is the program for you. Become a Teen Reviewer and earn volunteer hours for your Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Visit brantlibrary.ca/teenreviewers for more info and fill out our Teen Reviewer form to apply.
