Join the TD Summer Reading Club!

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest summer reading program for kids, tweens, & teens. This free program is designed to inspire youth to explore the fun of reading their way – the key to building a lifelong love of reading.

Register today at brantlibrary.ca/beanstack! Paper reading trackers are also available at your local library branch.

Book prizes are now available for pick up

New books (available as a prize for participants who have read 24 Hours) are now available to choose and pick up from your local library branch. Connect with staff and claim your well-earned prize!

Encourage a love of reading throughout the year

We offer a variety of Reading Challenges throughout the year to keep young readers engaged and "on the right page".

Accessible materials

We have club materials for children with print disabilities*. Please email our Children's Services staff or call the Paris Branch to request your accessible materials.

(*A print disability is a learning, physical, or visual disability that prevents a person from reading conventional print.)

Stop the summer slide

Studies show that school-age children lose some of their reading ability over the summer months if they do not continue to read while they are out of school. Summer reading programs help maintain academic achievement and are a proven tool to help bridge this gap.

The TDSRC inspires kids to explore the fun of reading their way—the key to building a lifelong love of reading. The benefits of the Club are clear: recent surveys indicate that 87% of kids read more often or the same amount over the summer, and 96% of parents/caregivers agreed that their child maintained or improved their reading skills over the summer!
