Winter Reading Challenge 2023 - Register today!

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but reading books together is so delightful!

Join us for this family-friendly reading challenge that encourages reading books by fantastic Canadian authors and completing fun family activities.

Registration for the Winter Reading Challenge begins Sunday, January 1 on Beanstack, our reading challenges portal.

This special reading challenge runs from January 1 to February 28, 2023.

Reading challenges for kids & families

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Coming this winter!

A free literacy program for newborns, babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

The goal? read 1000 books with your little one before they start Kindergarten.

More information, including how to register, will be provided shortly.
